Paul Braddock presented the iTILT project at the annual IATEFL conference in Glasgow, Scotland earlier this week to an audience of English language teachers from around the world. The presentation was well received, and was filmed and streamed live as part of the Glasgow Online initiative at the conference. Paul talked about the progress so far, showed two flipcharts that have been produced and also gave an insight into what's to come, showing examples of data collection that were captured in Barcelona, with teachers using the IWB in practice.

Abstract:
Increased use of Interactive WhiteBoards in foreign language classrooms is creating a need for teacher training and extra pedagogical support. This talk will look at early outcomes of research into this area by the EU-funded ITiLT project (Interactive Technologies in Language Teaching), as well as a range of resources & video footage of IWB interaction in classroom observations.
