The first iTILT training session for the French part of the project took place in the Jules Ferry primary school in Cagnes sur Mer. We went over the main stages of data collection and talked about communicative language teaching before going on to work with Sanderin's vocabulary materials for primary EFL.

The trainees were able to work on the Promethean board and use the ActivInspire software to get to grips with tools for inserting, grouping and locking elements on a page, and to see how these tools can be used to create pedagogically effective learning activities.
Partipants left with a copy of the iTILT training manual and a sense of motivation for the iTILT project and for developing their IWB skills for language classes in general.
