The blog post ‘a good amount of visuals' refers to clips showing classroom practices related to criteria 6: Flipcharts should contain a good amount of visual, audio and tactile input (e.g. embedding of audio, image and video files). However, it is important to balance the amount of stimuli presented in order to avoid cognitive overload (e.g. adding too many images to one page).
This blogpost is part of the iTILT Partner Clip Selection, a series of blogposts in which iTILT-team members highlight a number of clips from the iTILT.eu website illustrating classroom practices that underpin one or more of the criteria that the iTILT team expects to be conducive to effective communicative language teaching.
Individual items in iTILT selection can be found by using the keywords and tag ‘iTILT Partner Clips Selection’ on the Library search page.
